Last week the studio hosted a lecture event from Alison Freer (award winning costume designer for 'The Morning Show' and New York Times bestselling author of 'How To Get Dressed') where she walked actors through tips and tricks for finding the perfect outfits for your auditions and self tapes - especially on Zoom.
These days, almost every audition is a self-tape - and utilizing your wardrobe to its fullest potential can make or break auditions. Alison walked us through how skin tone, hair color, backgrounds, and lighting can - and should - affect what you wear. Along with finding the outfits that match the "type" of your character. Knowing how to make these decisions is more important than ever and we'll be having Alison back for more guest lecture events soon.
