WHAT WE'RE DOING
We're inviting you to submit original scenes or scripts to be performed in class by a few of the talented actors who study at Kimball Studio.
It give writers an opportunity to see their work performed during any stage of their creative process -- and our actors a chance to workshop with emerging material.
We demo'ed this a bit this winter and found it to be really satisfying and joyful for all parties.
HOW IT WORKS
Send Your Work: Submit your scenes or a full script directly to us. Include any casting instructions, or let us handle it all.
Our Actors Perform It: A few of our dedicated, professional actors will then bring your pages to life in our small, supportive on camera audition or blocking classes (10–12 actors per group).
You Receive Videos: We’ll share videos of the performances for your private review. All materials are watermarked, stay confidential and will never be circulated outside our class.

KELLY KIMBALL
Kelly Kimball founded Kimball Studio 30 years ago. She became one of the most beloved, inspirational, and respected acting teachers in NYC by actors, writers, and directors. We follow her innovative on camera curriculum and passionate teaching philosophy. And we are grateful every day for her contributions to the craft of acting.
JANINE DITULLIO
Janine joined Kimball Studio 3 years after it was founded by Kelly. Together they wrote and ran the studio, penning pilot scripts for NBC, CBS, and FOX and more. Janine is a two time WGA award winner and six-time Emmy nominee in comedy writing. She has taught at NYU Tisch and Boston University. She is grateful for every creative moment spent with Kelly.
