Kimball Studio is a hybrid on-camera acting studio based in NYC. Our 20 week long in-person or on Zoom acting program is designed to help you hone the skills you need to thrive as a professional actor today in Self-tape Auditions, Zoom Callbacks & Chemistry Reads, and on TV and Film Sets.
We get you ready to perform your best, most authentic work when you book work. And, we help you showcase for reps and casting directors - who appreciate the level of talent at Kimball Studio - in our free monthly industry workshops.
We also have a lot of fun! Kimball Studio is a vibrant community of practice oriented artists.We cater to professional TV & film actors, theatre actors transitioning to screen acting, and recent college/university grads who want to launch their professional acting careers trained, informed, and ready.

Classes
We offer 20-Week classes in-person at our NYC Studio and on zoom. Our next session runs from
July -December 2025.
We believe in learning-by-doing, so every actor acts in every class. You'll get specific, individual coaching from our teachers. Our 20-Week classes are designed to help you hone your acting, audition / self and on set work. We help you get the skills and confidence to book work, and perform at your highest level when you do.

Instructor Intensives
Our highly regarded 3 Day Summer Instructor Intensive offers college & university level educators the chance to act, interact and learn to teach the innovative and tangible on camera techniques developed by our Founder Kelly Kimball.
Teachers and Professors can sign up now to join us July 25-27 in person at our Manhattan studio or via zoom.The mission: a new up-to-date toolbox to use both in your professional acting and your teaching life.
